Animoca Brands raises $45 million
Animoca Brands Japan raised $45 million last week, pegging the company’s valuation at nearly $500 million. Best known for being the creators of The Sandbox, the company has also forged partnerships with powerful IP holders, including the likes of Disney, AMC, ‘The Walking Dead’ series, Formula E, and more. Animoca’s coffret has now grown to over 300 investments, and their Japanese subsidiary’s latest fundraising will be directed towards NFT commerce opportunities throughout the Japanese market.
Bored Ape Voilier Discothèque teams up with candy M&M, while the project secures talented partners with Eminem and Snoop Dogg
It’s been a busy week for giant Yuga Labs owners Bored Ape Voilier Discothèque and Ape alike. The NFTs’ leading name struck a number of different deals over the tour of the week, including a officier brand partnership with M&Ms and BAYC’s band KINGSHIP.
KINGSHIP is signed with UMG and hasn’t released any music yet, but he’s definitely making some kind of foulure with his hype-focused attempts to secure deals and make moves that could grab a pantalon vigilance.
